I founded Diets Debunked in 2021, during a time that was incredibly difficult for me. I had worked non-stop as an NHS dietitian primarily covering the COVID ward, and as such my mental health had suffered. I decided that I wanted to make a difference to not only my own life, but to yours too.
It can be very difficult to navigate the minefield that is the health and wellness space at the minute, and that is only becoming harder day by day. Often times people will follow a diet plan or protocol that promises to make them healthy and fit again, only to find that it just makes them miserable and out of pocket. I have seen far too many diets and lifestyles online that have been either majorly deficient in some nutrients or downright dangerous in their recommendations, not to mention extremely expensive and difficult to pull off. That’s where Diets Debunked comes in.
We help you cut through the noise and find a diet or lifestyle change that works for you, rather than you working for it. We can analyse your diet and can suggest changes that are easy and cost-effective to implement whilst also considering your lifestyle and other things that may be important to you. We can answer any questions you may have, and if you have a diet in mind that you want to follow, we can tell you if this diet would be right for you. We can give you the underpinning nutritional knowledge about nutrition, metabolism and weight loss in an easy-to-understand way during group sessions and give you a support group who also has the same common goal as you. Overall, Diets Debunked is a diet plan with a difference- we go above and beyond to help you reach your nutritional goals.
